Stop 2: Learning Rwanda’s History at Kigali Genocide Memorial

By around 9:00 AM, we headed to the memorial.
This is one of the most important places to visit in Kigali, especially for travelers wanting to understand Rwanda’s journey of resilience, healing, and transformation.
The memorial provides powerful insights into the history of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, while also showing how Rwanda rebuilt itself into one of Africa’s fastest-growing and safest countries.

The guests absolutely loved it.
From local flavors to the presentation itself, it felt like culture served on a plate.
