Day 1: Rubavu to Kinunu

  • Morning briefing and bike setup by Huza Gateway.
  • Start your journey along Lake Kivu’s shoreline.
  • Pass through banana plantations and tea farms.
  • Visit small fishing communities and enjoy scenic lake views.
  • Overnight at a guesthouse in Kinunu near a tea plantation.

Day 2: Kinunu to Karongi

  • Early breakfast and ride through forested trails and
    coffee-growing villages.
  • Climb hills offering spectacular views of Lake Kivu and the
    Congo Nile divide.
  • Visit a local coffee cooperative to learn about Rwanda’s coffee
    culture.
  • Overnight stay in Musasa at a locally run eco-lodge.

Day 3: Karongi to Kumbya (Nyamasheke District)
