Day 1: Arrival in Kigali and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Gorilla Trekking Day:
Wake up early for an exciting day of gorilla trekking. After a hearty breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing. Here, you’ll be assigned a gorilla family to visit based on factors like fitness level  and trekking difficulty.

Gorilla Trek:
Accompanied by your Huza Tours Rwanda guide and experienced trackers, embark on the gorilla trek into the lush forests of Volcanoes National Park. The duration of the trek can vary, taking 1 to 4 hours or more to locate the gorilla family.

Encounter with Gorillas: Once you find the gorilla family, spend a magical hour observing these majestic creatures up close in their natural habitat. Your guide will provide insights into their behavior, social structure, and conservation efforts to protect them.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking and Departure

Lunch: Return to the lodge for a satisfying lunch before preparing for your departure.
Return to Kigali: Bid farewell to Volcanoes National Park and head back to Kigali. Enjoy the scenic drive, reflecting on the un forgettable experiences of the past three days.
AirportDrop-off: Your Huza Gateway guide will drop you off at Kigali International Airport, or at a location of your choice within the city, as per your travel plans.

Overnight stay
Depending on your flight departure time, you can either return to Kigali and spend the last night in the same hotel as the first night or opt for a day room in Kigali before your departure.
